Political science - Vision & Mission

Vision:

To develop responsible citizens and future leaders by imparting quality education in Political Science, promoting democratic values, constitutional awareness, and critical thinking in accordance with the principles of student-centric and multidisciplinary education emphasized in NEP-2020.

Mission:

The Department of Political Science strives to achieve the following objectives:

• To provide comprehensive knowledge of political theory, governance, and international relations.
• To develop analytical, research, and leadership skills among students.
• To promote awareness about the Indian Constitution, human rights, and democratic institutions.
• To prepare students for competitive examinations such as UPSC, APPSC, NET, SET, and other public service examinations.
• To encourage research orientation, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity.
• To adopt innovative teaching methods, experiential learning, and technology-enabled education as recommended by NEP-2020.
